When We Are Closedclosed_sign

If you call the surgery after 18:30 or at weekends and bank holidays you will hear a recorded message informing you of the number for our out-of-hours service. You will be triaged by a nurse who will arrange for a doctor to provide advice or treatment.

Patients can also attend the Soho Walk-in Centre at 1 Frith Street, London W1V 5QS. The centre is open between 07:00 - 20:30 Monday to Friday and 10:00 - 20:00 on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays. Telephone 020 7534 6500.

NHS Direct

Alternatively you can access urgent assistance by calling NHS Direct on 0845 4647. A triage nurse will assess your situation and take appropriate action. This could simply be by offering advice or where necessary by making arrangements for you to be seen by a doctor.

Emergency NHS 111 Service

The non emergency NHS 111 service aims to make it easier for the public to access local healthcare when they know they need urgent advice but it is not a life threatening situation. The easy to remember, free to call 111 number, will clinically assess callers during their first contact and direct them to the right local service.

You can also contact the out-of-hours service on 0208 969 7777. Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
